A noteworthy trade made by the Philadelphia Athletics, as they send Bill Reidy (the reigning American League Fireman of the Year) to the Chicago Orphans for Double-A catcher Jack Robinson. Unsure why Philadelphia was willing to ship off Reidy who is having another solid year (MLB: 0-2 with 2 saves, 2.16 ERA in 16 2/3 innings) in relief for a minor league catcher (Double-A slash .223/.290/.311; 83 OPS+) that is several years away from making in to MLB.
