Wow that is going to be a challenge; but the CL teams should be competitive with each other. I think I backed into a fairly balanced result in my version. The shifting of superstars through free agency was a bit alarming. But it may well be a fair representation of how teams of that era would react to the sudden free agency.

Rather than hijack your thread with my results, I should probably start a new thread with my approach using your creation. I’m at the end of Spring Training, with a weekend of CL teams playing NL and AL teams before the season starts. I am curious how this version will play out. Right now, waiting to see who becomes available as teams cut down their rosters and have to DFA some players.
