The ambiguity in scouting comes from the difference between the player's real stats and the scout's estimation, not from two different forms of the scouts estimation.
Changing the meaning inputs ambiguity where it shouldn't be, meaning that one form of description becomes less valuable, for no good reason - or even a realistic one.
Real Stats ~~ Scout's Estimated Stats == Scout's verbal description.
That's how it, realistically, should be; a scout isn't going to change their estimation between different formats, but now, you've introduced exactly that.
