National League Player of the Week
For the 7th time in his short career, Nap Lajoie was named the National League Player of the Week. The Cincinnati Reds dynamo was on fire last week, going 13 for 27 (.481 batting average) with 4 Doubles, 1 Triple, 2 Runs, 4 RBIs, and 2 Walks. With a slash line of .481/.500/.704 and a 247 OPS+, he was able to generate 0.7 WAR for the week. It is worth noting that he is especially feasting on lefthanded pitching so far this season, smashing the ball to the tune of a .513 (40 for 78) batting average.
