I like it, but since the Arab League is an obvious parallel to the Saudi-backed LIV Golf, I wish you'd set it in the present time.

Here's a scenario: Imagine if the Arab Major League had started in 2022, stealing away a bunch of major league players, causing MLB to harshly criticize the usurpers. Then, midway through the 2023 season, the Arab League suddenly "merged with" (that is, bought out) Major League Baseball!
