It's good to see the Glasco Celtics and Sugar Valley Rattlers return to the Elite Eight. These have been two of the more successful franchises in my IPA. Glasco has won 4 championships, their last coming in 1896, while Sugar Valley has won 2, with 1898 being their last. Glasco's last Elite Eight appearance was six years ago in 1911, while Sugar Valley's was 15 years ago in 1902.

#6 Sugar Valley is a perfect 6-0 in the playoffs so far. They got a couple of breaks by virtue of upsets in other series, but they have certainly made the most of it. They swept #27 Crystal Lake, #22 Taranto and #14 Beechwood. By far their toughest test will be coming up in the Elite Eight, where they'll face either #2 Volusia or #10 Belair Beach.
