So maybe there's a base chance that charging the mound won't result in suspension, and that chance is lower the higher you have your suspension setting? So it's less likely for you, but still possible.

I remember a Jomboy breakdown of a 70s game with a fist-fight at 3B between George Brett and a runner than came in hard. Punches thrown, benches cleared, umpires calm everyone down, no ejections and the game resumed as if nothing happened.
