I've seen this a few times across my saves so I thought I'd document this one. Hader wins the Cy Young with 92.2 IP, 1.75 ERA, 3.5 WAR, 3.7 rWAR. Ohtani has 177 IP, 2.59 ERA, 4.9 WAR, 6.6 rWAR. There are over 15 pitchers with a higher rWAR than Hader. I am not in any way opposed to relievers winning the Cy Young, but this seems like a scenario where it shouldn't happen. Furthermore, Ohtani wins the MVP with a 3.3 hitting WAR, which indicates that the MVP voting system seems to weight his pitching achievements more realistically.
