I did try the beta branch, and the issue was still reproducible.
Here is some potentially helpful additional info, and a possible workaround. I was able to resume the game that I uploaded, after following these steps (only works in Non-Challenge mode):
Game-> Game Settings -> Toggle Use Complete Scouting System to on (I had previously set it to off)
on same screen -> Clean Up Scouting Database
on same screen -> Run Full Re-Scouting
Those are the steps I did yesterday to resume my game, and also it worked when I tried it again today when I unzipped the files I uploaded and tried on that save (after reproducing the issue).
Still probably worth fixing, especially because the workaround won't work in challenge mode! But I am more or less unblocked.
