Just when you thought he couldn't get any better, Nap Lajoie took it up another notch. This time the powerful Cincinnati Reds 2nd baseman smoked the opposition for a .392 batting average (47 for 120), with 12 doubles, 3 triples, 26 runs, and 20 rbi's for a slash line of .392/.434/.542 (181 OPS+, 194 wRC+, 1.9 WAR) to take home National League Batter of the Month honors.
