Why no DFA or holding spot for Free Agent signings in Online league
Is there any work around for an online league commissioner having to stop the sim whenever a team signs a free agent mid-sim? Even if the signed free agent is bound for the minors the game gives a roster error and forces the commissioner to stop the sim if the offending team is at their active roster player limit prior to the signing.
It appears the only thing the commissioner can do is go through the time-consuming process of stopping the sim, logging-in as the GM who signed the FA because there does not appear to be an ACT AS button for commissioner to use, make the change and then log back in as commissioner to continue the sim.
Is there no "Designated for Assignment" like OOTP has or some sort of holding spot of some kind the newly signed player can sit for a few days until the sim ends, allowing the GM to make the move himself?
It just seems ill-planned and an awful lot of work for the commissioner to make him manually do all of these changes in an online league and if the GM who signed the player did not send instructions on what changes to make he is now at the mercy of the commissioner to decide who to move or cut?
There has to be a work around of some time, is there not?
