Challenging? Yes. Impossible? No. Which is what I am after. Other house rules mean the best guys are unavailable to me in their peaks. EG
El Tiant, who played a year for the Buccos right at the end of his career. But, because he is a Legacy Player, I cannot touch him until that section of his career is done with. Compensating for this is the Cutlass Club guys, which allows me to strategically place three interlopers in the group. Again, that comes with its own sets of challenges. I can't introduce a non-Pirates guy now because my 3 slots are filled. For me to do so, the trade would have to involve one of those 3 to free up the spot.
The Sens offered me McLain in the offseason, so I tried to swap out Demeter for him to free up the necessary spot. Sadly, no dice. Still the Giusti add is a good one for us. Should stay fairly cheap and is good but bot CYA great for quite some time. With our teensy budget we need those guys moving forward.
