As long as the team's post what days they wear the city connects I can avoid those games. Most of them I find quite unappealing, but it's not just that...
I don't go to Chicago to celebrate Chicago, it's history and traditions. I go to see the Cubs. Same for the Twins or any other team. I'm not there to celebrate their city, I'm there for MLB baseball and, at the prices they charge, want to see those brands, ie uniforms-logos. Perhaps if I lived close enough to take in several games per year I wouldn't care. But for me it's a major expense to go to a game, the ticket is the cheapest part of the excursion, and we buy good seats. IE you don't drive 8 hours to sit in a nosebleed section. Throw in food and a couple beers at the game

, gas, hotels, eating out on the town and it's a chunk of change.
I don't know what other teams do but I believe the Cubs, at least last year, would only wear city connects for Friday games. Knowing that it's easy for me to avoid, and having that information is fair enough.
