No miracles today...
For the second straight game in the ALCS the Rays tied it up late, but this time Detroit won it in extras to even up the series at a game apiece.
Chris Ferguson had a rough early go, giving up 3 runs in the first 2 innings but settled in after that and
Kelly Crumpton's RBI double in the 8th got the Rays to parity. But they couldn't bring him home, and the rookie
Danny Arroyave grounded out with the bases loaded and 2 out in the bottom of the 9th with a chance to be the hero. And Detroit then jumped on
Mike Moore in the 11th for 3 runs to take the victory. The series now shifts to the Motor City with the Tigers snatching home-field advantage.
Joe Marlette will try to regain it for the Rays in Game 3.
