There are situations - like second and third, runners not forced - where I wish as manager I had the option of telling the runner on third to go on contact or play it safe. Or even a pop-up screen after the ground ball is hit, asking me to choose whether to run or not. If the defense is playing in, I would be less likely to say go on contact. Unless i had a lightning-fast runner on 3B.
