He got a 6 year $237 mil contract extension from the angels. its better, but he's easily gonna get something like 10 years $450-500+ mil whenever he does sign another contract.

OK...well those are all of the settings I am comfortable delving into...it could be a financial issue, and there have been some which are hopefully going to be fixed in the latest patch or the next one coming up. Maybe run another test once the game is patched to see if this is still happening.
