Anybody have an idea how long pitcher rehab needs to happen after a long term injury?

I have Kyle Bradish from Baltimore in 2025 who missed the entire season as he got injured during Spring Training. It's early September and he just made 2 rehab starts. I called him up after that because we were just 2 games from a playoff spot, and he's gone 0-3 since, with a 9.75 ERA and 18 walks in 16 innings with only 2 K's. That is unusually bad! I re-scouted him after coming back, and he didn't lose any skill, so maybe I didn't give him enough time making starts in rehab? I've obviously had to pull him from the rotation.
