Balanced Baseball League is a new fictional league in the founding stages. We currently have 10 of our target 12-16 teams. The goal of the league is to create an environment where players will change teams frequently and budgets will be relatively similar.
As such, some of our substantial variations from the standard formula include: 5 year maximum contract length, no extensions, no options, 1 year less control of rookies, and rebalanced finances.
We are running in OOTP 24 and will have a MWFSat sim schedule.

The following set of rules is intended to get prospects ready for the majors quickly:
The draft pool will be filled exclusively with college players.
International amateurs and discoveries are turned off and instead international players will go through the college system and the draft.
Player development speed is turned up to 1.400
Only AA and AAA will be used for minor leagues
Minor League Free Agency will happen after only 3 years
No Rule 5 draft
