The Critters never got the solutions for the backup catcher spot or maybe a backup infielder upgrade. The Thunder would keep asking for Antonio Alfaro, but wouldn’t give up a catcher for him, and the Titans and Bayhawks wouldn’t let go of Raul Salas and Keith Redfern, respectively, for reasonable returns. The Rebels would make Steven Acosta available, even a left-handed hitting catcher, but he was known to be a bit of a **** and we weren’t interested.
