That honestly looks like a bug to me.

One other check I would run in the Major League transactions tab. It can be a pain if there are many to sort through. I normally look at “Major Transactions” first, and anything involving Ohtani should be there. The idea is to see if there is an entry, presumably on the 14th. For example: “Ohtani is placed on waivers”. Note that would not necessarily rule out a bug. It could be showing the AI doing something the user did not intend or initiate. But logically, a player can’t be claimed unless he was first placed on waivers. There should be “tracks”. If there is not such transaction, that makes it more likely it’s a bug, to me.
