One for the ages as the Philadelphia Founders complete one of the luckiest and strangest championships in memory. Despite a regular season in which they were some 10 games better than they should have been, the Founders made to the series and then came back from down 3-1 to Chicago. They won a 14 inning Game 5 and then cruised to victory in Games 6 and 7 for the improbable win. Home Run Baker carried the team hitting .500 (15 for 30) with 3 home runs.
