I agree. I was a week late or so in buying the game this year and didn't buy the subscription for another few days and I already don't regret it. I think it's a really fantastic subscription model and I'm always a fan of anything that isn't set to auto renew. I am very pleasantly surprised by the value of the monthly subscription.

Funny enough, for the last two years I've been recommending a monthly model for PT. I was always blown away by the fact they didn't have one (every other sports collecting/card game basically does).

But this is even better than I expected.

For $7:

29 standard packs (29,000 PP)
5 silver packs (10,000 PP)
1 gold pack (3,000 PP)
1 historical pack (10,000 PP)
1 diamond pack (15,000 PP)

5,000+ PP per week from accomplishment bonus (20,000+ PP for month)

That's 87,000 PP worth if you login all 30 days.

PLUS you get the tourney slots, which should average an extra place every 8 tries - so 3-4 extra places in PD, and 5-10 extra places in traditional (? depends how frequently you're entering). That has to be at least 50,000 PP per month, possibly closer to 75-100K for a lot of players.

Conclusion: for $7 you're getting between approx. 125,000 PP and 175,000 PP in value. And then there's one more bonus, it says, no idea what that is.

The only downside I see: as an actual F2P player (nothing to do with money, it just takes away the fun/challenge for me), this puts me at a significant disadvantage compared to previous years in having an elite team, since way more players will pay the $7 for those massive rewards. Thankfully, I'm only playing casually this year!

So, yes, this review is from a player who will never pay for PT Plus - but I would like to commend OOTP developers on a great addition overall.
