The San Jose Raiders faced the first game of a tough 3 game road trip to the Milwaukee Bucks today. Manager Mike Moore changed Catcher again but otherwise went with his strongest players but in a slightly different line up.

After a quiet start the Milwaukee Bucks were the first to get on the score board in the bottom of the 3rd. Kevin Fenderson walked to lead the inning off. Jon Rangel then managed to get one he liked and hit it 357 feet for a 2 run home run.
San Jose got 1 back in the top of the 7th. A solo home run of 419 feet gave Alex Robinson the run and the Raiders their first score.
The Milwaukee Brewers got back to 2 in front in the bottom of the 7th. Gabe Young got a single. He moved to second when Kevin Fenderson hit a single. A Jon Rangel single loaded the bases. Tony Cobos then hit a long fly out that allowed Young to tag up and sprint for home, beating the throw from right.
George Tizzard gave the San Jose Raiders their second run as he hit a solo effort 396 feet in the top of the 8th.
The bottom of the 8th saw the Milwaukee Brewers attempt to take the game away from the Raiders. Mario Gomez was walked to lead the inning off. A double by Pablo Vazguez saw Gomez move to third. Gomez and Vazguez then scored from a single by Jose Rodriguez. Vazguez beat the throw from right. A double by Kevin Fenderson bought home Rodriguez to give the Brewers a 6-2 lead.
The Raiders big comeback in the top of the 9th failed to come about as they only got a 365 foot solo home run by Manny Jaime from the inning.
The Raiders lost 6-3 to fall back to 56-56 for the year.
