29821 fans came out to Raiders Field to watch the final game of the 3 game series between the San Jose Raiders and the Raleigh Beavers. Manager Mike Moore made 1 change to the line up to rest Scott Ha.

The game turned into another blow out in favour of the San Jose raiders.
The bottom of the second saw the Raiders get the scoring going. Manny Jaime hit a single. He moved to second when Mike Lentz was given a walk. George Tizzard then came up and hit one 379 feet for a 3 run homer to make the score 3-0.
The bottom of the third saw the San Jose Raiders double their lead. Mark Sofka hit a single. He moved to third on an Alex Robinson single. Manny Jaime then stepped up to the plate and launched one 373 feet for a 3 run homer to make the score 6-0.
The top of the fourth finally saw the Raleigh beaver on the board. Rob Philbin hit a single. Alex Vasquez then hit one 411 feet to score a 2 run homer making the score 6-2 in the Raiders favour.
The bottom of the fifth saw the San Jose Raiders crush any hope the Beavers had of winning the game. Enrique Huerta led off with a walk. A double by Hugo Arias moved him to third. Both Huerta and Arias scored when Mark Sokfa doubled. Sofka scored himself after an Alex Robinson double. Mike Lentz then hit a 2 run home run that went 342 feet. Armando Sandoval was walked. George Tizzard then hit his second home run of the game, this one 343 feet, to score 2 runs. In total the Raiders scored 7 runs to make the score line 13-2.
The bottom of the seventh saw the Raiders finish out the scoring with 3 more runs. Armando Sandoval led off with a double. He moved to third when George Tizzard hit a long fly out. Mark Tice was walked. Armando Sandoval then scored when Enrique Huerta hit into a fielders choice that saw Tice out. Hugo Arias was hit by a pitch to move Huerta to second. A Mark Sofka walk loaded the bases. Alex Robinson hit a single to bring Huerta home and see Hugo Arias sprint round third and beat the throw from right to score.
The final score of the game was 16-2 in the Raiders favour.
This raised the raiders record to 50-49.
Up next for the San Jose Raiders is a trip to Atlanta to face the Colonels.
