I define competitive team as making diamond league playoffs ~50% of the time. Last year my alternate team earned ~3000 packs and achieved that goal. Twitch drops average 55 per week and you make up the rest with login rewards at the non plus member level. Average pack luck. Key was starting in September, to power through the lower levels to pick up scads of points to buy BAL perfects at very low prices.
To make it work this year, start now and sell all your cards above bronze and forget league play until October. Then, armed with a couple million you can be in diamond by December and the rest will be history. Avoid missions (except live missions, done in October when it is dirt cheap to complete.)
