The final game of the Raiders, Generals series saw 24547 fans come out to Raiders Field. Manager Mike Moore kept a steady line up for the game.

After a scoreless first the San Jose Raiders got the runs started in the bottom of the second. Alex Robinson led the inning off with a solo home run that went 410 feet. Manny Jaime then singled and moved to second when Mike Lentz reached on an error. The bases were loaded when Armando Sandoval hit a single. Mark Tice hit a fly out that allowed Jaime to tag up and then come home, beating the throw from centre.
The top of the third saw the Washington Generals half the Raiders lead. Bob Mattingly hit a solo home run that went 424 feet.
The Washington Generals tied the game up in the top of the 4th. Dante London got a walk. He moved to second when Jeremiah Cornwell reached on an error. The bases were loaded when Vinny Ramirez was walked. Andre Williams then hit a long fly out that allowed London to tag up and come home, beating the throw from left.
The Washington Generals took the lead in the top of the 5th. Steve Cain was given a walk. He then stole second before moving to third on a throwing error. T.J Blue then hit a double that allowed Cain to come home.
The Generals lead did not last long as the Raiders came back into it in the game. Enrique Huerta led the bottom of the 5th off with a single. Hugo Arias was hit by a pitch to move Huerta to second. Alex Robinson then hit a triple that saw both Huerta and Arias home.
Things then went quiet until the 9th. The Washington Generals tied the game up with a solo home run from Andre Williams. The hit went 356 feet. This inning saw Seth Fiebelkorn given a blown save, his 4th of the year.
Going into the bottom of the 9th the Raiders just needed 1 run to take the game and the series. Mark Tice made base with a double. Arias made base with a walk. Mark Sofka then hit a single that allowed Tice to sprint for third before turning the corner and pushing for home. He made it beating the throw from left to give the Raiders a 5-4 win.
The win put the Raiders back at .500 with a record of 48-48.
The next series for the San Jose Raiders is a visit from the Raleigh Beavers and another match up for the Huerta brothers.
