I think this thing has gotten personal between Lamar & the Ravens. Maybe someone disrespected his mom. Maybe the reaction to his guarantee demand was disrespectful. Maybe things got worse when he was hurt. I personally think Lamar has gone about this wrong. His impatience makes me wonder if there is more to his injury that we aren't hearing.

I kind of agree. The more ridiculous the money gets, the less competitive things become in pro sports. Because nothing really matters anymore after you get paid. The Buster Douglas that came out against Holyfield, was that the same Buster that came out against Tyson?
Look at the NBA. It's pointless to watch the regular season. It's clear they don't care about winning. Without the strong competitive vibe, why watch? It's what makes watching the college game much more enjoyable. You can feel the desire to win.
