That's not a problem with the namesets so much as it's a problem with Latin American names in general. Remember when there were two shortstops, both named "Alex Gonzalez," playing in the same league at the same time? ("... and Alex Gonzalez grounds out to Alex Gonzalez to end the inning") Some countries are even worse when it comes to the limited number of names. Sweden, for instance, actually encourages people to change their last names because the most common Swedish names are
extremely common.
