Again, what money?
They're not giving Jocketty a mulligan, they're raising the player budget by ~$7 million and using this as an excuse to say that that's not what they're doing so they don't look like they're actually successful. A four year old should be able to see that.
No #### they need to improve the pitching. But that money is not coming from this trade... it's coming from the owners deciding to raise the player budget. Seperate events.
