The twitch stream I was on was almost an hour and a half, although we didn't really talk much about the babip model. As mentioned, we have had multiple podcast episodes covering topics, and I linked to a thread above where I answered other questions on this specific topic too.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask, and we might be able to get around to answering. Just asking "what does this mean for me" is something I never could have answered, since I have no idea what type of player you are, what parts of the game you care most about, what your interests are, etc...
