Keep your leagues small... that way you learn the players and can get more immersed... I have a 64-team league with 8 divisions and 2 subleagues... it is much too big to follow and recap each season on my OOTP dynasty report... I sim the regular season and play out the playoffs game.

I have been doing my Islandian Pro Alliance league for 15 years... real time... started it in 2007... so attached psychologically, I can't just stop doing it... once I reach 100 seasons, that will be it... in in the 77th season this year.

I also have a 16-team league, the South Island Supreme League and the South Island Secondary League... two leagues with promotion and relegation... it is more enjoyable because I can learn the players and teams... I play out each game in this league... the small league is much easier to cover in its dynasty report.

This league is like semi-pro league and only plays on Sunday... only 15-man rosters and is a short season league.

I don't use minors leagues... I use reserve rosters for both leagues.

I will never play another large league.
