General Tips For Gameplay

Hello everyone, I just finished watching the franchise deep dive and it had me thinking about the new in game analytics and the new in game animations. In the past and for OOTP 23, I usually simulate a season a day and I'm not really the kind of person who goes through every single game. This year I think that might change; the improvements make me want to play every single game, but I have wondered about what has others done to make the gameplay seem fun. I'm more into simulation because I was always bored of just playing the games and I don't mean like I'm dissing the developers, but I mean like eventually I would get tired and go back to simulating a season every day. The new in game features will make the game more fun but are there any strategies anybody follows to make everything more interesting? The in-game analytics help to know where the hitter may hit to but all of these new features sort of answers my question. I have always been a simulation only person so I don't know much about putting in the right pitchers during a jam for example, or whether it would benefit me to put all left-handed hitters versus a right-handed pitcher. What do you guys follow to succeed in OOTP?
