Agreed, and I'm hoping the extra focus on deadline trading can help with this. OOTP generally does a *lot* better than any sports sim I've played, but yea there are still too many headscratchers. Every year a few 90-100 loss teams let good players go for nothing, and there's always a couple odd trades where rebuilding and contending teams do the opposite of what you'd expect.
