IOW, does Mazzula command the respect necessary to really call out his players, hold them to accountability, etc., and right this ship? Time will tell...

I think I saw Williams and Mitchell exchanging comments right before the free throws. I couldn't see what Mitchell was saying, but Williams appeared to say at least twice, "I'm going to make them both." So maybe Donovan was telling him "You're going to miss."
About Mazzula, I hope they will at least give him a chance.
