First... He flatly states in his post he can't trust OOTP, nowhere did I tell him he was wrong.

Point being OOTP, as it should, put out the information before the game was released so users could make an informed decision. The trouble is it came slightly after pre-orders started, which is why I said "I think they'd honor refund requests on the pre-order since nobody has received the game."
In either case he now has all of the information. He can take that, along with his trust level of OOTP, and make an informed decision. This is a good thing.
Where I did get a little off the mark is I misread the post and thought he was talking about both mods and the actual leagues being removed. Hence the "It's not going to change, it's been announced before release," was in the context (in my mind) that the unlicensed leagues being removed was a done decision. Rereading it now shows he was only talking about modded leagues that replaced the "ones being removed" could be removed from the mod forum like last year. Notice how I never challenged that either? As it stands the information is provided by OOTP, IE unlicensed leagues will be removed, and the modding community can replace said leagues. So, we're back to his "trust level" in OOTP, which I never commented on. I simply stated he has the current information and his experience with OOTP, and with that he can make an informed decision.
