Games 129-131: Detroit Tigers vs. Boston Americans

The American League leading Detroit Tigers journeyed to Beantown in an attempt to fend off the late-season push of the Boston Americans.

Doc White (23-11) picked up the win, allowing 2 earned runs on 5 hits and 2 walks, striking out 8 to finish with a Game Score of 90. Fred Klobedanz (16-15) took the loss, allowing 7 runs (3 earned) on 9 hits and 2 walks in 11 2/3 innings to finish with a Game Score of 60. Chummy Gray pitched the final 1/3 inning.
