Not the results that the Boston fans were looking for in the 3-game series against the Brewers:

Game 123: The Americans (72-51) fell behind early and could not catch up to the Brewers (51-72) as they lost the game 6 to 5. Frank Owen (15-16) picked up the win by allowing 5 runs (3 earned) on 9 hits and 2 walks to finish with a Game Score of 56. Patsy Donovan (3 for 4, 2 Doubles, 1 Run, 2 RBIs) and Bill Hassamaer (3 for 4, Double, 2 RBIs, 1 Walk) had a great day at the plate. Jesse Tannehill (18-12) took the loss after allowing 6 runs (4 earned) on 9 hits and 1 walk in 7 innings; Game Score of 44. Bob Lawson pitched the final inning in the loss.
