I've been playing ootp for what seems like forever. I come to the forums often to pick up some knowledge, but I don't think I have ever posted a thread. Every year the new versions come with improved AI, nicer graphics, and improved overall play. But the way the game handles rain delays is something I feel needs some improvement. Today, I played a game with an 11 minute delay. This seems almost impossible. I think delays shjould be no less than 30 minutes. I doubt any grounds crew can roll out the tarp and then roll it back up in 11 minutes. And I notice that if there is a lengthy rain delay it does not affect the pitcher's stamina. I have been able to continue with my SP after a delay of over 45 minutes with no effect many times.
