I would be more excited if they were sending out press releases about the new Director of Franchise Mode they were hiring to inject resources and leadership into a mode that has become pretty stale over the last few years. Rather than the ones I’m seeing about the hire of a new Poobah of Games as a Service or Ziggurat of Live Service Games or Majordomo of Skinner Boxes or whatever his title is.
