The St. Louis Cardinals have placed outfielder Cedric Mullins on the 10-day injured list after he suffered a sprained ankle in a 4-1 win over the Chicago Cubs on April 10.
Mullins, 29, had hit .300 with two homers and seven RBIs over the first six games of the season.
He is expected to miss up to four weeks.
Tre Fletcher, 22, will be called up from Memphis to replace Mullins on the Cardinals' roster.
In 14 games at Memphis this season, Mullins has hit .254 with seven homers and nine RBIs.
