Mike Moore went with the same line up for the second game in Denver as they faced the Mustangs again.

The game turned out to be one of attrition for both batting line ups as the pitching and fielding of both sides came to the fore.

The scoreless game was not broken until the 9th inning where the San Jose Raiders managed to scratch out a run against the excellent pitching of Mustangs starter Shi-Fa Yang. Willie Fontanez lead the 9th inning off with a double. This was followed by a single from Enrique Huerta that allowed Fontanez sprint for home to make the score 1-0 to the Raiders.

The Raiders were quick to go to Seth Fiebelkorn for the bottom of the 9th and he duly delivered save number 5 of the year to give the Raiders the win.

The Raiders got back above .500 with the win to go to 6-5 for the year.
