Sorry, EC has trouble with reasoning of this type... I was wrong.
If you want to pull a pitcher quicker, use negative numbers... that is, "pull them or hook them quicker from the game".
If you want to pull them slower, use positive numbers... that is, "leave them in the game longer" and not "hook them as quickly"..
The AI setting for my starter was "Default"... you can change that setting to positive or negative, depending on which way you want to go... I was happy with the AI's original settings for the starters, but not the relievers... I wanted to cut down on how often the AI changed relievers.
The best way to do control settings in your game is to pick a year that has stats you like... then use whatever ever settings the game sets up.
