A series that one suspected was going to be extremely close lives up to its billing, with the Grays finally seeing off the ABCs in six mainly tight games.
Coincidentally, it was the Grays the Giants beat in '68 and this will be their first trip back as well.
MVP honours go to Homestead's Eric Davis.
