As I play OOTP I think back to my early teens and playing Strat O Matic scoring by hand and tracking player stats on recipe cards or in a notebook. I don't get emotional enough to shed a tear but I do think about how cool would it have been to have OOTP when I was in 8th grade instead of having to wait to get it in my early forties.
No game is perfect not even OOTP, but it sure does what I need it to despite it's shortcomings. I take my glass of OOTP half full, thank you very much
and always look forward to seeing what is added and improved in the next version.
If we get to a point where that doesn't come? I'll be happy continuing on with whatever version I currently have.
