Yes, 3D objects are often harder to deal with than those just in two dimensions. For many of my builds in Kaneva, even ones I was somehow sufficiently able to complete, I probably spent at least that much time, on average, to get everything as good as it could be, over any number of days. For instance, the maze I built there took me about 19 days and I don't know how many actual hours of direct virtual building to completely do and pattern and all, it seems to me. Not to mention finding or creating various images and all for the various panels and all present for the build, or outfitting it in certain areas of it.

A lot of other builds I did there were never ultimately finished, however, because of how difficult it periodically was to build for them, especially whenever they were tinkering with build mode, in truth. I have at least a few related screenshots I could probably show here, for visual reference, of course, but it'd likely take me a while to find them, however.

My favorite build that I did there, though, is probably the one with thirteen floors for it, and it was rather large, from top to bottom, especially on the lower half of the build there. Obviously, I can't possibly show all the related pictures here to that particular build of mine, but maybe later on, I could show at least a few of them, just the same.

The 15th of this month would have been my 14th Kaneva Anniversary, had Kaneva still been around now. But they went down for good in November 2016, after I'd spent nearly eight years there, with only about four days of prior notice before it did so, in truth. Some had been there much longer than me, no doubt, so they probably lost a lot more than I did, when it did so. Both the 3d side and the 2d side went down very quickly once it closed. So a lot of people lost things from that entire virtual world environment, for sure, if they weren't able to be recovered or pictured in time and all, unfortunately.

I often loved being in Kaneva, nearly every day and/or night, in fact. But I also often like being here too, and getting to talk to wonderful people like EC and you, for instance, jg2977. But there is a time for everything under the sun, no matter what it is, and at times, certain things must ultimately come to an end in various people's lives, like it or not. I suppose that was ultimately the case for Kaneva, and it will probably also come eventually, in terms of this board, and/or the companies involved in the production of the games we often like to play here in our lives. It may be years yet, perhaps, before we see the last games produced by OOTPD, or not. I hope that's the case, for sure, but not everything lasts forever, in this world, you know.

As long as Markus and certain others are able to continue running certain things here, I think the game company will be able to continue producing more products for people to use from it. Andreas may be close to retirement, if not already at it, by now, but I still think this company's in fairly good hands right now, even if they may unintentionally make certain mistakes at times, in various ways, whether known or not at certain times, for sure. Humans make mistakes, you know, in any case. But hopefully, most of us, at least, ultimately do learn from them, and eventually stop making such mistakes in our own respective mortal lives, before we have to each leave this world in them eventually, of course. CD out.
