Westward Expansion of the USBL
After the success of the Omaha Jacks moving to San Francisco, the USBL began to have more teams move further west. By 1915, there were two teams in Texas and three teams on the Pacific coast. Between 1910 and 1915, five teams relocated to cities further west. This caused realignment in the conferences with Cincinnati and Cleveland both moving to the Atlantic Baseball Conference.
