I don't fault him for his decision, I don't think he's trying to kill OOTP, as this niche genre only has so many avenues to take to get bigger.

So first he was a prisoner, had no choice. Then it was a decision made him. A bold business risk. We get it, you like him, you really like him. And its clearly not just him who made this decision and isn't the one pure villain. But we have the actions to go by. Purposeful actions of harming the save files and then the purposeful silence. This is to protect themselves and profits. This is simply corporate greed at its finest, and at the expense of customers.
