Maybe you wouldn't want to use such names in your dynasties for players on their related teams, but I wouldn't mind doing so too much, most likely, in my own dynasties. Especially if they suggest hints of possible wordplay, for example.

CD, you can create your own unique names yourself... just edit the name of a player to what you want.
Sorry, I like for names to be matched up... using a Scandinavian first name with a Scottish surname is not for me.
I want ethnic names to match up... Lars Larson... Byorn Haldorson... Eric Ericson.
Duncan Ferguson or Finlay McPherson.
