I believe that the pitching and hitting systems are both in need of an overhaul. As someone said, each pitch needs its own "control" and "movement" rating. Teams needs analytics staffs to overhaul pitchers approach...see what the Dodgers did to Andrew Heaney last year. He didn't really change much of the way he threw, but he started throwing some pitches more and others less and went from almost 6 ERA to 3. Teams need analysts (but in order to do that the game would probably need to take in account a lot of other things like spin rates, etc that currently do not exist in game). I also believe that hitters ratings should be calculated differently...hitters alter their swing, their approach to the plate, etc a lot and it leads to entirely different results (for example Joey Votto spoke about how he changed his approach last year, leading to a spike in power but a decrease in BA).
Also, expansion needs an improvement. As someone said you should be able to target an expansion target (2028 for example), and teams will start to draft and having minor league affiliates 3 years before they get to play in MLB in order to have a functional farm. Expansion draft needs to have more options for protections (look at NHL rules to get an idea).

EDIT: sorry for the bad english, it's not my first language.
