half the problem ootp has is it takes 5 hours to setup and play. ootp should have multiple setup configs based upon difficulty or realism or whatever. We should be able to click start and play. Not need hours to set up the game to get it to run better.
Buy FM, install FM, Click start and play. No setup. No billion configurations to play with.
And there are some saying oh its no big deal japan and indys are gone its "only a couple of clicks". It is in no way a couple of clicks. More like a hundred. Then testing. WTH is up with that?
Give us a japan template in the wizard that isnt too much to ask for. I dont give a rats a** about ootp 24. no way in hell i am buying it. But I own 23 and I want to play it how i originally bought it.

Then nicely ask someone to send you a Japanese + indy template to add to your patched game. It will literally take maybe 5 mins to load the template into a new saved game and then you're playing like it's always been there because all the exact same default settings will still be loaded. There's no shortage of us around the board that haven't patch3d our game or made a backup of the leagues when reading what was happening. Problem solved
